Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy

ABA therapists teach children skills such as transitioning, toileting, eye contact, compliance to task, sitting in chairs, and replacing challenging behaviors with appropriate behaviors. ABA therapists work to increase adaptive and desired behaviors and minimize challenging behaviors. Interventions are based on indirect and/or direct assessments, and recommendations are discussed, modeled, and/or implemented with your child, depending on what is best in your child’s situation.
