Ellen Bursi

Ellen Bursi • M.A., CCC-SLP

Ellen earned her Bachelor of Science in Special Education with a concentration in Communication Disorders from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Memphis.

During her graduate program, Ellen worked in various settings, including schools, private clinics, inpatient, and outpatient rehabilitation hospitals.  She has experience evaluating and treating communication disorders in many areas, such as voice, motor speech, swallowing, language, cognition, articulation, and social skills.  She has also worked with a wide range of clients, including toddlers, school-aged children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Ellen currently lives in her hometown of Memphis, where she is a proud alumna of Holy Rosary School and St. Agnes Academy.  She enjoys spending time with friends and family in her free time.  Ellen is looking forward to getting to know each of the clients and their families at JHA.
