Catherine Jordan

Catherine Jordan • M.S., CCC-SLP

Catherine earned her Bachelor of Science in Special Education with a concentration in Communication Disorders from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.

Throughout her graduate program, Catherine gained experience working with all age groups in a variety of settings including early intervention clinics, aural rehabilitation clinic for the deaf and hard of hearing, school settings, and in acute care and outpatient rehabilitation hospitals. She has evaluated and treated many communication disorders including articulation, language, social skills, cognition, voice, motor speech, and swallowing.

Catherine, originally from Cleveland, TN, spent her academic career in Knoxville, TN, and moved to Memphis in May 2017 to work for JHA. Outside of the clinic, Catherine has a love for tennis, in which she competed in the United States Tennis Association, club leagues, and teaches children. She also enjoys anything outdoors, live music, and spending time with friends and family, including her 3 dogs. Catherine has a passion for working with children to improve their communication skills and is excited to begin this journey at JHA.
